THE SUNSHINE FUND

The Sunshine Fund was established to provide an avenue for Ryan employees to help other Ryan employees in times of crisis. It is independent, non-profit, and its success and prosperity depends solely upon contributions. (In other words, it is NOT funded by the company.)

To be eligible for assistance, a recipient must be a permanent Ryan International Airlines or aviation affiliate employee (on Ryan payroll). They must have experienced an unforeseen emergency resulting in personal hardship. This precipitating event must have caused them a financial loss, making it difficult to meet basic living needs. (A "precipitating event" is an acute definable specific event, such as death of immediate family member, fire, acute illness, loss of property due to natural disaster, etc.)
